SPORTS
The sailing club’s official name is Fans of the Sea Cub of Alexandroupolis. The club established the year of 1993.The main activities of the sport club are the following:
- Yacht offhore/inshore sailing.
- Kitesurfing.
- Windsurfing.
- Dinghy sailing( likes as catamaran optimist,laser etc.)
- S.U.P.
SPOT
The club offers comfortable facilities with security system, equipment storage,tap water,classroom,toilets,online weather station-cam,safety boats etc.Our location is on the beach side of the town, two minutes of the center of the town. In front of the famous lighthouse.
ACCESS
You can have access either throught the bicycle-walking road either driving your car through the entrance of the private parking .The entrance of the parking for us is free.Just take your ticket and give it back to us. You will receive your parking free card.
MANAGEMENT
You will have the opportunity to enjoy the servive of well-known epxerienced athlete, our Head manager of the club Nasos Didaskalou. His certifications are : Bachelor degree of Sport science and coaching. Certifications as instructor at offshore sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, dinghy sailing and swimming .He is a proffesional lifeguard and speaks fluently English and French.
FAME
We will give you three reasons to like and to join us:
- We are the first who established the Offshore yachting school in Alexandroupoli from 2004. We set the high standarts of education with safety first procedure for everyone!
- We are proud of the the first full organized Windsurf and Kitesurf Academy at north-Greece from the year of 2016!
- Of course because we have plenty of wind! Our North/Northeast wnds are perfect due to the location when meltemi comes. Also we have our prevailings westerlies from 10-15 knots at hot summer days. Finally , southerlies and easterlies are very strong. You can enjoy perfect conditions all year round!
