Proclamation of swimming competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O.F.TH.A Swimming club of Alexandroupolis<\/strong> <\/strong>in cooperation with the municipality of Alexandroupolis and the Swimming Committee of the Region of East Macedonia & Thrace and under the auspices of the Hellenic Swimming Federation organises the International Swimming Meeting called “FAROS – ELENA SAIRI 2023”<\/strong> which will take place in Alexandroupolis from the 21st<\/sup> to the 23rd<\/sup> of April 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The swimming competition will be conducted at the municipal swimming pool of Alexandroupolis<\/strong> \u00abDimosthenis Michalentzakis\u00bb<\/strong> 50 m with 10 lanes with an OMEGA<\/u><\/strong> timer, according to the international rules of swimming provided by FINA. The recorded times will be official and recorded to the archive of the Hellenic Swimming Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results of the event are going to be displaced to the billboard 10 minutes after the end of each event.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performances achieved, are going to be taken into account in the context of the swimmers\u2019 participation to the Men\/Women World Championship and Junior World Championship, European Swimming Championship M (U23) – W (U21) and Junior European Swimming Championship, as well as the National Swimming Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SECTIONS OF THE SWIMMING COMPETITION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Competition will take place in 5 sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st<\/sup> section<\/strong> – Friday 21\/4\/2023 Afternoon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm-up starts at 16:30 \u2013 Race starts at 17:30  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2nd<\/sup> section<\/strong> – Saturday 22\/4\/2023 Morning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm-up starts at 08:30 – Race starts at 09:30 \u2013 Qualifying series  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3rd<\/sup> section <\/strong>– Saturday 23\/4\/2023 Afternoon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm- up starts at 16:15 \u2013 Opening Ceremony of the event starts at 17:15 \u2013 Race starts at 17:30 \u2013 Final   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4th<\/sup> section<\/strong> \u2013 Sunday 23\/4\/2023 Morning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm- up starts at 08:30 \u2013 Race starts at 09:30 – Qualifying series <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5th<\/sup> section<\/strong> \u2013 Sunday 23\/4\/2023 Afternoon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm- up starts at 15:30 – Race starts at 16:30 – Final <\/p>\n\n\n\n
